Jorge A. Ramírez Uresti holds a BSc in Computer Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Estado de México in 1991; MSc in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Estado de México in 1994; PhD in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from University of Sussex, England. Dr. Ramirez Uresti is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering and Sciences. He has been the leader of the Four-legged project (previously RoboCup Project) – team strategy, team management, design and development of the intelligent behavior of the robots (2004 – 2010), participated in Mobile Robotics Research Group, member 2004 – 2006 (Leader 2006). Coordinator of the HP Research & Development Centre Mexico (HP RDCM) working in collaboration with HP Labs, 2011 – 2013. He has published more than 30 research articles in journals and conferences. He has supervised 3 PhD dissertations and 13 Master Thesis.
